Delaware Adds Electronic Delivery

Delaware Investments has joined the world of e-delivery. As of today, Delaware investors will be able to receive fund materials electronically through the new service, called Delaware eDelivery.

Investors can receive monthly and quarterly statements, annual and semi-annual reports, prospectuses, privacy policy statements and other documents via the Internet. Statements will remain available for viewing for 18 months, annual reports and prospectuses for 12 months and semi-annual reports for six months, according to the firm.

Delaware also has plans to offer other documents online, such as transaction confirmation statements and marketing materials, according to the firm.

When a document becomes available online, Delaware will send investors who choose to accept eDelivery a notification email. The firm will soon send out materials asking investors if they would like to register for the service. Investors can also register on the firm’s Web site.
