Delaware Investments Executive Resigns to Join Turner

Doff Meyer, senior vice president of marketing and retail investor services at Delaware Investments of Philadelphia, resigned today in order to become the chief marketing officer at Turner Investment Partners of Berywn, Pa., she said.

Meyer begins with Turner April 23 and will be responsible for coordinating and developing marketing for the company’s four investment management businesses including; institutional separate accounts, mutual funds, sub-advisory business and managed-accounts, according to Turner.
The chief marketing officer position is a newly created position and part of Turner’s expansion plans, according to a company announcement. Earlier this year, the company announced that it would add separate account services and would add 10 new positions.
Prior to working at Delaware, Meyer was the CEO of Doff Meyer Corporate Communications, a marketing-consulting firm she founded in 1989 specializing in financial services marketing. She joined Delaware in 1998, she said.
Meyer’s decision to leave Delaware is “very amicable” and is based on the opportunity offered by Turner, she said.
