DST Names McCarthy VP of Sales, Marketing

DST Global Solutions has appointed Rick McCarthy vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas, in charge of DST’s investment management and business process management solutions. McCarthy reports to Walt Laliberte, managing director of the Americas.

For the past 20 years, McCarthy has held senior sales and marketing positions in the financial software industry and is very knowledgeable about financial risk, energy risk and business process management. He started his career with SunGard, where he held several senior positions, including vice president of product management and vice president of Asia Pacific.

Commenting on his new position, McCarthy said: “I have been following the progress of DST Global Solutions, and its parent, DST Systems, for a number of years and have been impressed by the company’s expertise and the quality of its solutions internationally. I am excited to help drive sales and marketing initiatives and assist taking the company to the next level.”
