Eagle Offers Investment Grade Bond Fund

Eagle Asset Management has launched the Eagle Investment Grade Bond Fund, a mutual fund modeled on its High Quality Taxable fixed income separately managed accounts portfolio.

The new fund seeks capital preservation and stability and will invest in intermediate and short-term investment-grade securities that offer similar returns to longer-duration bonds. The fund will benchmark against the Barclays Capital Intermediate Government/Credit Index. James Camp and Joe Jackson are managers of the fund.

“We believe the fund will be especially attractive to intermediaries and advisers who are seeking an unambiguous, core fixed income component to anchor their clients’ portfolios, while providing an alternative to riskier investments,” said James C. Abbott, co-chief operating officer and executive vice president of investments at Eagle Asset Management.
