Eaton Vance Distributors has announced three new additions to its managed account sales and marketing group.
James Durocher was named director of managed accounts marketing, and will be responsible for key account relations, training and development of the sales force, and for positioning the Eaton Vance asset management companies. Prior to joining Eaton Vance, he served as a regional VP for Alliance Capital Management.
Judy Snow May was named marketing manager of managed accounts, and will be responsible for building and supervising an internal sales support team and developing and distributing marketing material. Most recently, May was VP of marketing at Tucker Anthony.
Charles Womack was named regional director of the firm's Southwest territory, responsible for managed account sales in the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Womack joined Eaton Vance from Piedra Capital, where he was director of marketing and business development.
The team is headed by Lawrence Sinsimer, managing director of managed accounts. Sinsimer joined Eaton Vance last year to develop the firm's managed account business. Eaton Vance had more than 850 separate accounts with $2.8 billion of assets under management as of Sept. 30. The acquisitions of Atlanta Capital Management Company and Fox Asset Management, Inc., on Sept. 30, increased Eaton Vance's assets in separately managed accounts to approximately $11 billion.
