Eaton Vance Shifts Execs Into New Investment Oversight Roles

Eaton Vance Management announced today the appointment of Thomas Faust Jr. as Chief Investment Officer and Duncan Richardson as Chief Equity Investment Officer.

Faust has served as the firm’s chief equity investment officer since 1995. He will now oversee investment performance "across all disciplines" at the firm, which oversees $56 billion in assets in more than 70 funds, according to a statement. Faust will also lead the development of new products, the statement said.

Richardson, in his new role as Faust’s replacement, will continue to manage Eaton Vance’s tax-managed growth portfolio, which is the company’s flagship product.
