Faust has served as the firms chief equity investment officer since 1995. He will now oversee investment performance "across all disciplines" at the firm, which oversees $56 billion in assets in more than 70 funds, according to a statement. Faust will also lead the development of new products, the statement said.
Richardson, in his new role as Fausts replacement, will continue to manage Eaton Vances tax-managed growth portfolio, which is the companys flagship product.
