Edward Jones Adds UMA Models to Advisory Platform

Edward Jones has added UMA Models to its advisory platform for its 12,000 advisers, Edward Jones Advisory Solutions.

Managed Portfolio Advisors, a division of Natixis Asset Management Advisors, and Vestmark are providing overlay management to the mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and separately managed accounts that will be included in the UMAs. Edward Jones’ research department will handle asset allocation and investment selection, as well as automated threshold rebalancing. The UMA Models also offer tax efficient management, such as wash sale management and regular tax-loss harvesting.
