Morningstar ClearFuture allows participants to select the proper mix of investments for their portfolio, which allows better decisions to be made regarding their plan account balances. Within the program, there are guidance and advice services, both of which offer a bear-market simulator to test participants risk tolerance. According to Morningstar, the approach offered by ClearFuture offers a more personalized, goals-based method, allowing the investor to take the whole portfolio into consideration, including non-retirement assets.
