Assets in broad-based, domestic exchange traded funds increased by more than $3.25 billion between May and July of this year, helping post about $2.8 billion in increased assets for all ETFs, the Investment Company Institute reported today.

Broad-based, domestic ETF assets rose from about 63.8 billion in May to just more than $67 billion last month. Domestic sector ETF assets, meanwhile, declined from just more than $7 billion in May to less than $6.7 billion in July, the ICI reported.

Assets in all ETFs were at $72.8 billion in May. By July they had reached $75.52 billion.
