ETF Assets Rise in November

Investors moved more money into exchange-traded funds in November, increasing the value of these funds by 13.6%, according to Investment Company Institute’s monthly report.

ETF assets swelled to $78.9 billion at the end of November, compared to $69.4 billion at the end of October. Last month, gross issuance increased to $5.6 billion from $4.9 billion in October, while redemptions decreased to $3.3 billion from $4.1 billion.

Assets of domestic ETFs increased $9.1 billion, while international ETFs increased $333 million.
