European Fund Sees Key Management Shift

Hansruedi Huber has resigned as chief investment officer of the European Warrant Fund, an $87 million closed-end fund, the company announced this week. It was unclear why he resigned.

Andrea Quapp will replace him in that role, overseeing the fund. She had recently joined Julius Baer Asset Management, which is an affiliate of the European fund's adviser, Julius Baer Securities. At Julius, Quapp oversees European investments.

She has also spent 16 years with UBS where she headed that company's Swiss equity team. She also served on UBS' European subcommittee, Swiss Strategy committee and European Portfolio Construction team.
