Evergreen Investments has launched a new national advertising campaign entitled, "More Demanding." The advertisements focus on the disclipined approach and long-term dedication to quality asset management Evergreen has deployed since 1932, according to the company. "The market fluctuates. Our standards, however, don’t," is the tagline for one of the print ads. "While the market will never be controlled, we believe it can be managed," is the tagline for another. The ads will run on a variety of television networks, outdoor media and in print publications.

"Evergreen Investments has been a vibrant and increasingly large asset management firm for many years, and we have continued to grow during these remarkably challenging time –something few firms can say," said Bill Dennis, president and CEO of Evergreen. The firm’s mutual fund assets have grown from $83 billion in the first quarter of 2000 to $115 billion in 2003. "This success creates an opportunity for Evergreen to communicate to potential investors the core strength of our firm – a fundamental commitment to be more demanding than our competition," Dennis said.

The new campaign was developed in conjuction with Mullen, the firm’s agency of record.
