Dresdner RCM Global Investors has hired Scott Migliori, a senior co-manager with Provident Investment Counsel as its new senior portfolio manager, in an effort to boost the capacity of its U.S. large-cap growth equity team.
Migliori, who is scheduled to join the firm today, will report to Joanne Howard and Seth Reicher, co-chief investment officers of Dresdner's large-cap equity portfolio.
Migliori joins Howard, Reicher, Peter Goetz, Elizabeth Mooney, Brad Branson and Edward Painvin on the team.
"We had been looking for someone for a while. We wanted to find someone who was able to work within a team structure, and [Migliori] fits the classic definition of what we were looking for," said T.J. Deutz, head of the firm's San Francisco sales and marketing group.
Jeff Miller, vice chairman of Provident, was out of the office and not immediately available for comment.
