Joseph H. Jones has been promoted to senior vice president, managed services, at Access Data Corp., from senior vice president, professional services. In this new role, Jones is responsible for business continuity and disaster recover services and data backup.
Jones, who joined Access Data in 1998, has more than 30 years of experience in the planning, management and development of IT systems with Mellon Bank, KPMG and EDS.
"In the aftermath of the recent Northeast blackout, businesses are realizing how imperative it is to have comprehensive business continuity and data backup plans in place for their mission-critical IT systems," said James J. Dolan, president and CEO of Access Data.
