State Street Research has named Kevin N. Wilkins head of distribution for both institutional and retail products. He reports to Richard S. Davis, president and chief executive officer.

Previously, Wilkins was head of retail distribution, marketing and planning. Before joining State Street Research in 1997, Wilkins was a marketing professional with Fidelity Investments and Procter & Gamble Co.
