For Gabelli Group Capital
Edwin L. Artzt, a former chief executive officer of Procter & Gamble, has joined Gabelli Group Capital as a senior advisor. He will provide strategic counsel to the firm's private equity portfolio, which has been expanding its holdings in privately held small and mid-sized companies.
Artzt joined P&G in 1953 and became CEO and chairman of the board in 1990, a position he held until 1995. He also served on the advisory committees for Presidents George H. Bush and William J. Clinton.
