Citizens Advisers, the investment advisor to Citizens Funds, has hired Robert F. Behan as vice president, director of sales. His chief responsibilities are institutional sales and client service management, as well as consultant relations.
"I'm very pleased that Bob Behan has joined our team. We've made good progress cultivating institutional relationships over the past five years," said Sophia Collier, president of Citizens Advisers. "Bob's experience in relationship management within the institutional asset management marketplace will help us deepen those relationships and develop new ones."
Behan has more than 15 years of experience in the institutional investment management field. Previously, he served as vice president; institutional asset management for Strong Capital Management, where he established and grew relationships with retirement plan sponsors, investment consultants and registered investment advisers. Prior to that, he was vice president, national accounts for CIGNA Retirement & Investment Services.
