Executive Move - Federated Investors Recruits Four Equity Analysts

Federated Investors has hired four investment analysts for its global equity research division. Francisco Duque, Guy Hardwick and Naimish Shah have joined the firm as senior investment analysts, while Jun Zhao comes on board as an intermediate investment analyst. All four report to Christopher Corapi, head of global equity research.

With these new hires, Federated has expanded its equity research team by nine positions to a total of 38 since last August.

Duque, who will cover banks, was most recently a portfolio manager at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Hardwick comes to Federated with nine years of investment experience, most recently as a senior fund manager for Legal & General Investment Management. He will be a general analyst covering Europe. Shah, who will cover telecommunications, was previously a senior equity research analyst at Credit Suisse Asset Management. Zhao, who worked for Federated as an investment analyst, is returning to the firm to cover the aerospace and capital goods sectors after a brief position as a senior associate with Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
