Manulife USA has appointed Bruce R. Speca as its executive vice president, investment management services.
In the new role, Speca will lead investment analysis oversight and strategic marketing and develop investment strategies for all of Manulife's business units. He will also be responsible for overseeing the selection, management and monitoring of all investment platform portfolios, as well as the ongoing research and development of investment market trends.
Previously, Speca worked for Pioneer Investment Management, where he was responsible for product development, marketing promotion and public relations.
"Bruce's extensive experience in investment management and strategy and his comprehensive knowledge of marketing and distribution provide the ideal combination of skills and expertise to lead our investment management services division," said John D. DesPrez III, chairman and president of Manulife USA.
