Executive Moves - Fidelity Taps Hewitt's Kimler To Lead Health Care Unit

Fidelity Investments has appointed Brad Kimler senior vice president in charge of leading its expanding health care consulting group.

Kimler, who joins Fidelity from Hewitt Associates, will report to Surinder Singh, executive vice president for health and welfare services at Fidelity Employer Services Co.

Kimler, a 15-year veteran of health care consulting, will expand the range of advice and counsel Fidelity provides to clients. "With escalating health care costs and increasing regulatory requirements, companies are demanding leadership from their providers to develop innovative solutions for health plan effectiveness and cost efficiency," Singh said.

Kimler joined Hewitt in 1988 and helped to establish the firm's health care practice in Boston. He was named a partner at the firm in 1995.
