Executive Moves - McCann Rejoins Merrill From AXA as Vice Chair

Robert J. McCann has rejoined Merrill Lynch as vice chairman of the wealth management group, reporting to Stan O'Neal, chairman and chief executive officer. McCann, who is filling a new position at Merrill, will also serve on the firm's executive and operating committees.

In his new position, McCann will oversee global private client services, Merrill Lynch investment managers and global securities research and economics.

McCann was most recently vice chairman and director of distribution and marketing for AXA Financial. Before taking that position, he was head of research at Merrill Lynch.
