FRC Promotes Fleites to Director of Retirement

Luis Fleites has been promoted at Financial Research Corp. from research partner to vice president, director of retirement markets. In this position, he is responsible for promoting FRC's research and consulting services to the retail and institutional retirement markets, including annuities. He reports to Ian Rubin, senior vice president, retail investment markets and strategic advisory business.

"FRC is very excited to have Luis join our team in this leadership role," Rubin said. "Luis has an extensive retirement market background that will greatly expand the research capabilities we can provide to our clients as they navigate through these competitive markets.

"An understanding of both the retail and institutional retirement markets is an absolute necessity in order to succeed in the retirement markets over the long term" as they converge, Rubin added.

Before joining FRC as a research partner, a position in which he authored the report "Investment-Only Defined Contribution Growth Opportunities: Capitalizing on Changes in a Dynamic Market," Fleites was an employee benefits consultant with Spring Consulting Group. Before that, he was a senior analyst with Cerulli Associates.

ICON Names Rosenbaum Marketing Vice President

Melissa Rosenbaum has joined ICON Advisors as marketing vice president, in charge of directing and managing marketing and sales of its mutual funds and private account products.

Rosenbaum comes to ICON from Fiserv Investment Support Services, where she was director of marketing. Before that, she was associate manager of employee benefits communications at Great-West Life & Annuity.

"We expect Melissa's specialized experience in managing marketing programs in the investment marketplace will help further develop our business," said Steve Holmes, ICON's chief sales and marketing officer.

Zysk Becomes Adviser At Wilmington Trust

Lorraine G. Zysk has joined Wilmington Trust as an investment adviser, charged with working with high-net-worth investors to develop customized investment portfolios based on their parameters for risk, return and liquidity.

Zysk joins the firm from PNC Wealth Management, where she was vice president and manager of investment communications.

Earlier, she ran her own firm, Springwood Communications, and before that, she was an investment adviser to high-net-worth individuals and corporations. She has also served as chief financial officer for an Internet insurance company, as a fixed-income analyst and as an adjunct finance professor at La Salle University.

Fox Becomes Wholesaler At Touchstone Investments

Michael A. Fox has joined Touchstone Investments as an external wholesaler for New York. With more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, he was most recently a senior specialist in the global transaction services group at Citigroup. Before that, he marketed separately managed accounts as a Northeast associate regional director at ING Investment Management.
