Transamerica Investment Management recently announced the firm has hired Ted E. Harris as its vice president of retail sales. He will oversee the sales efforts of the Transamerica Premier Funds and the TIM subadvised portfolios in the IDEX Mutual Funds and the Transamerica/WRL variable products.
Prior to joining the firm, Harris worked for seven years as a vice president and director of marketing at Luther King Capital Management. He has a B.A. in marketing from the University of Dayton and 12 years of investment experience.
"He will play a key role in marketing Transamerica's products to our distribution partners inside and outside of AEGON as we expand our presence in the retail arena, " said David W. Lubechenco, TIM vice president and managing director of sales and marketing.
