Executive Moves - Wharton Professor Joins ReFlow to Head Research

Roger Edelen, formerly a professor at Wharton Business School, has joined ReFlow Management as managing director of research. Edelen is an expert in portfolio risk, fair value and portfolio turnover.

"When we sought an expert in the field of academics to advise us on the costs associated with mutual fund trading, Professor Edelen's name quickly rose to the top of the list," said Alan Reid, president of ReFlow.

The firm also recently hired three marketing executives. James Halligan and Grant Wood have both joined the company as vice president of sales. Halligan was previously a managing director at Furman Selz, and Wood was a managing director with ING's managed account group. Kathy Simon, now a marketing manager with ReFlow, had been a financial services account manager with Berlin Communications.
