Fidelity Funds Among Best Performers Over Past 15 Years

The Boston Globe took a look at top mutual fund performers over the past 15 years and found that seven of the 10 highest-return funds were from Fidelity, with the Fidelity Select Brokerage Fund topping the list, with an annualized return of 19.10 percent.

Six other Fidelity Select sector funds made the list as well: Brokerage, Home Finance, Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Defense and Aerospace, and Energy Services.

T. Rowe Price Capital Appreciation Fund respectively. The Mairs and Power Balanced Fund followed, with 15- and 20-year returns of 11.15% percent and 10.64%, respectively. Vanguard Wellington clocked in at 11.06% and 10.71% for 15 and 20 years, respectively. Value Line Income and Growth Fund returned 10.75% and 10.04%, annualized, over the 15- and 20-year periods.
