Fidelity Gets on Board DST Vision

Financial advisers will now be able to get information about Fidelity mutual fund accounts online. The Boston-based behemoth has joined the DST Vision platform, which aggregates mutual fund and variable annuity account information from intermediaries.

The system includes information from 260 mutual fund and variable annuity providers. Advisers will still have access through Fidelity’s own site and AdvisorCentral platform.

The DST site will aggregate  account balances irrespective of family, as well as client statements. Quarterly downloads will also be available, according to Fidelity. The goal, Fidelity  Investments Institutional Services Company Executive Vice President Craig Huntley said, is to streamline processes for already busy advisers, allowing them more time to spend directly with clients.
