Fidelity Switches Ad Account to Arnold

Fidelity Investments has tapped Boston ad agency Arnold to service an advertising account estimated to be worth $100 to $120 million, it was reported this week. Arnold will replace Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos on the account, which involves the mutual fund and retirement markets.

The change may add more than $50 million to Arnold's coffers and comes after the agency continually pitched its services to Fidelity.

Fidelity has already started transferring advertising duties to Arnold, according to reports. The switch is the result of what was seen as conflict involving Hill Holliday's account with FleetBoston Financial.
