Fifth Third Picks new CFO from Within

Neal Arnold has been named CFO of Fifth Third Bank Investment Advisors, the wealth management arm of Fifth Third Bancorp, the company announced today.

Arnold started with the bank in 1990 in its Treasury division and was named CFO of that group in 1998.

As the new CFO of its wealth management division, Arnold will oversee the bank’s private and institutional client groups as well as its brokerage unit, Fifth Third Securities, which includes the Fifth Third Funds, a family of 31 funds with $12 billion in assets, according to the bank.

He remains responsible for the bank’s investment portfolio management, funding asset liability management, institutional investment sales and trading and investor relations.

Fifth Third Bank Investment Advisors has $182 billion in assets under management.
