FOLIOfn Hires Former Scudder Weisel Sales Executive

FOLIOfn of Vienna, Va., announced today that it named Donald Cody vice president of institutional sales, a newly created position.

Previously, Cody worked for Scudder Weisel Capital where he was responsible for sales of the firm's alternative investment products to institutions and high net worth clients. Prior to that, Cody was vice president of institutional business development at TD Waterhouse, where he developed a separate account management program.

'I look forward to working closely with Don as we continue to expand our institutional offerings,' said James Vitalie, president of FOLIOfn Institutional, in a statement. 'He has a terrific background both in developing products and in delivering them to the market, and he will be instrumental in our plans to reach financial professionals and intermediaries.'

FOLIOfn also announced that it has retained the services of Alan Sislen to assist in its efforts to expand its managed account business and develop new products. Sislen runs Managed Account Perspectives, a managed account consultancy to money managers.

Sislen formerly worked for Merrill Lynch, where he ran the firm's fee-based advisory services.
