Financial Planning's July 2025 continuing education quiz is now live online

Advisors who are interested in staying abreast of industry news and trends while at the same time potentially earning an hour of continuing education credit should head over to the latest CE quiz installment

Subscribers to Financial Planning are eligible to earn up to 12 hours of continuing education credit from the CFP Board or the Investments and Wealth Institute. FP's continuing education quizzes are based on self-guided article surveys and cover general knowledge topics including principles of financial planning, investment management, tax planning, retirement planning and much more.

When taking the CE quiz, be sure to have your ID number handy — you'll need it to receive credit from the certifying organizations. And to qualify for the credit, you'll also need to correctly answer 8 out of the 10 questions.

Lastly, we know it goes without saying for the vast majority of readers, but a refresher can't hurt: Please take the quiz yourself.

Here's a couple reasons we bring it up: A UBS managing director recently left her job over CE cheating claims (she allegedly had her underlings complete the training for her). And dozens of brokers were disciplined — and a handful barred from the industry — by FINRA for their CE missteps. Of course, we know you would never.
