FPA Partners with Peak Advisor Alliance

The Financial Planning Association and Peak Advisor Alliance, a financial advisor coaching and practice management company, announced on Wednesday a new partnership offering FPA members coaching, content and discounts on Peak services.

Through this partnership, Peak's educational resources and marketing tools for advisors will be available to FPA members via the FPA Practitioner Resource guide, a directory on the FPA website.

FPA members will receive a special link giving them access to a $400 discount on the diagnostic fee for two Peak services. This results in a 20% discount on the advisor coaching program and and 40% off the Resource Center program which offers advisors practice management tools.

Coaching will feature both one-on-one and group support delivered by Peak's team of coaches. Content available to FPA members will include multi-media delivery of "Tested-in-the-Trenches" strategies, systems and tool-kits for advisors.

Another feature of the partnership, according to FPA and Peak, is community. Advisors will have access to a network of "unique individuals, all with something to share, a strong desire to connect with other professionals and to learn from and support each other."

"Practice management is a priority for FPA and its members and we know that they will greatly benefit from the resources and tools from Peak Advisor Alliance," Lauren M. Schadle, FPA's associate executive director and chief operations officer, said in a statement.

All advisors will also be given a complimentary copy of Tested in the Trenches: A 9-Step Plan for Success as a New-Era Advisor, by Ron Carson, Peak's founder.

Paul West, managing director at Peak, said the partnership is a good fit for both organizations.

"Both firms provide resources to the community that allow for a professional commitment to enhance the lives of advisors and their clients.  Peak Advisor Alliance's coaching and content will provide a significant value to the FPA® membership," Carson said in a statement.
