"With his deep background in research and practical understanding of the industry, John is the ideal person to assist FRC clients in finding solutions to their challenges in the areas of product and distribution," said FRC President Neil Bathon.
Replacing Benvenuto as director of research will be Michael Evans, who previously served as the firm's managed accounts guru. He now will expand that knowledge to encompass all FRC "subject matter expert areas." The new managed accounts expert will be David Haywood, who already handles alternative products.
FRC, the 17-year-old subsidiary of the New York-based outsourcing giant BISYS, is a financial services marketing consulting and research firm with more than 200 clients.
