ING Investment Management Americas has appointed Fredric A. Nelson to the new position of vice chairman and CIO. In his new role, Nelson will manage equity and fixed income investment employees and will also serve as a member of the ING Americas Management committee.
Nelson was previously managing director and head of JP Morgan Fleming Investment Management's U.S. equity group. ING Group's management arm was formed last year when ING split its largest fund management unit into three entities.
