FT Interactive Taps Investors Bank and Trust for Exec

Starr Named Senior Director of Mutual Fund Services

FT Interactive Data, an arm of the London-based newspaper Financial Times, has hired Kenneth Starr as senior director of mutual fund services. Starr reports to Richard Koenitzer, VP of North American business at FT Interactive Data.

'Our mutual fund clients frequently turn to us as their one supplier for all pricing, descriptive and corporate action data and we have been committed to meeting their ever-changing needs,' said Stuart Clark, president and CEO. 'Ken will add vision and expertise to maintain FT Interactive Data's industry leadership and direct our efforts in helping the mutual fund industry achieve its STP and T+1 objectives for 2004.'

In a statement, Starr said that he expects to be busy converting clients to FundRun, a Web-based NAV calculation and management tool.

Starr most recently served as a director at Boston-based Investors Bank and Trust Company, where he also handled mutual fund clients.
