The move is part of a larger shakeup of the company, which recently named a new president and a new CEO.
Gentile has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and securities industry.
Before joining Fund.com, Gentile worked in Morgan Stanleys global wealth management group managing technology vendors.
Prior to Morgan, Gentile was vice president of business operations and development at Standard & Poors.
