Fund.com Inc. has appointed Philip Gentile as the institutional and consumer financial services companys chief operating officer.
The move is part of a larger shakeup of the company, which recently named a new president and a new CEO.
Gentile has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and securities industry.
Before joining Fund.com, Gentile worked in Morgan Stanleys global wealth management group managing technology vendors.
Prior to Morgan, Gentile was vice president of business operations and development at Standard & Poors.
"Phil has the specialized know-how to bring large scale technology projects together, especially for financial services implementations," said Ray Lang, CEO of Fund.com. "Fund.com needs his skills and leadership to help Fund.com accomplish its goal to simplify an incredibly fragmented market for financial information and make it available online at www.fund.com."
