FundQuest: 68 Using Unified Services

FundQuest Inc. said 68 advisory firms have made its unified managed account services available to their advisers. The most recent client to sign up is United Planners Financial Services of America, an independent broker/dealer and investment adviser in Scottsdale, Ariz. FundQuest announced its agreement with United Planners on Tuesday.

 

The clients include the advisory arms of large insurance broker/dealers, independent registered investment advisors, bank broker/dealers, and independent broker/dealers, FundQuest said. In addition, advisers at 150 community banks and credit unions have access to its unified managed account.

 

FundQuest, which is based in Dallas and Wellesley, Mass., provides open architecture managed account products and services, including technology-based productivity tools, investment due diligence, sales support and back-office services. United Planners is offering the unified managed account as part of a comprehensive set of FundQuest open architecture managed account offerings. FundQuest had $64 billion of assets under management as of June 30.
