Genworth Brings Rothfeld Aboard as Chief Marketing Officer

Genworth Financial Wealth Management appointed former Citibank and Charles Schwab executive Myra Rothfeld as its chief marketing officer.

Rothfeld, who most recently led the development of a new independent advisor channel for high-net-worth clients at Citibank, will be responsible for marketing, brand strategy and product management initiatives in support of the more than 6,000 independent financial advisers GFWM serves.

“Myra is passionate about the independent adviser space and she brings innovative ideas to help the advisers we serve grow and compete in their markets,” CEO Gurinder Ahluwalia said in a statement. “With today's challenging landscape, we want to be more proactive and responsive in supporting our advisors. Adding her breadth of marketing experience and familiarity with the independent financial advisor will help us fulfill our mission.”

Rothfeld also previously served as senior vice president of marketing at Schwab Institutional where she was responsible for marketing, client experience and product management for the independent RIA business.

GFWM, a wholly owned subsidiary of Genworth Financial, Inc., has more than $20 billion in assets on its platform.
