Glenmede Adds Business Development Manager

Wealth management firm Glenmede has enlisted industry veteran Matthew Beardwood to fill the newly created position of business development manager at its Wilmington, Del. office.

At his new post, Beardwood will help the company grow by developing relationships with endowment, foundation and tax-exempt entities and high-net-worth individuals and families.

“His management background and deep industry knowledge will further enhance our ability to continue to strategically grow our business and help us ensure our clients succeed,” said Chip Wilson, executive director of relationship management at Glenmede.

Beardwood brings with him a network of regional contacts developed over his 15 years in the financial services industry and as director of the Rotary Club in Wilmington.

Previously, he was senior vice president and managing director of sales with Valley Forge Asset Management.

Headquartered in Philadelphia, Glenmede handles more than $20 billion of investable assets for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other institutions.
