GoldK, an online retirement plan provider and mutual fund distributor, has named Gary Brady senior ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) counsel. Brady becomes the company's fourth attorney and the first specializing in ERISA law, according to a spokesman.
Brady was most recently with John Hancock Funds, where he served as director of retirement regulatory consulting for John Hancock Retirement Services. At Hancock, Brady supervised a staff of 15, focusing on ERISA and retirement plan compliance. Before joining Hancock, he was a member of the Employee Benefits Practice Group and Executive Compensation Practice Group at Hale and Dorr of Boston.
