Online retirement plan provider GoldK's COO has resigned and will likely start his own consulting firm in the Boston area, the company said.
Radu Pasovschi was the company's first COO. He joined GoldK in January 2000, shortly after the company was founded, said spokesman Bill Benintende. Pasovschi will be replaced in the interim by CEO, Brian Boyle.
Benintende said the firm is "not in a rush" to replace Pasovschi, but hopes to fill the position "relatively quickly."
Before joining GoldK, Pasovschi had worked at Putnam Investments as well as PriceWaterhouse. Benintende did not know additional details about the new firm Pasovschi was expected to launch.
