GoldK’s First COO Resigns

Online retirement plan provider GoldK said today that its COO has resigned and will likely start his own consulting firm in the Boston area.

Radu Pasovschi had been the company’s first COO. He joined GoldK in January of 2000, shortly after the company was founded in 1999, said spokesman Bill Benintende. Pasovschi will be replaced in the interim by chairman and CEO Brian Boyle.

Benintende said the firm is "not in a rush" to replace Pasovschi, but hopes to fill the position "relatively quickly."

Before joining GoldK, Pasovschi had worked at Putnam Investments as well as PriceWaterhouse. Benintende did not know additioinal details about the new firm that Pasovschi was expected to launch.
