Great-West Tells Investors to 'Celebrate Saving'

Great-West Retirement Services has launched a marketing campaign this week to participate in the National Save for Retirement Week.

Dubbed “Celebrate Saving,” the campaign centers around e-mails, fliers, posters and a banner on its participant website that links to a “Celebrate Saving” microsite.

Great-West underlines the tax benefits of saving in a workplace retirement plan, encourages investors to consolidate retirement accounts for the sake of simplicity, demonstrates how increased savings translate into higher balances and talks about catch-up opportunities.

“In light of recent market volatility, we want to reinforce the importance of saving and investing for the long term,” said Gregg Seller, senior vice president of government markets at Great-West. “Our National Save for Retirement Week campaign uses our enhanced website and other communications channels to encourage workers not only to participate in their plans but also to consider increasing their contribution rates and implementing other strategies to strengthen their retirement preparations.”
