Hartford Regroups Products Divisions

Hartford Life has reorganized its investment products division, creating distinct divisions to serve institutional and retail clients. John Walters remains EVP of the division, supervising David Levenson, SVP in charge of the retail product management group, and Stephen Joyce, SVP in charge of the institutional product management group.

"The new alignment will allow Hartford Life’s investment products division to put a greater focus on our institutional effort and improve our retail product structure," said Walters, in a statement.

Prior to the realignment, Joyce had managed individual annuity products, but he has now handed that responsibility to Levenson. As head of the retail product management group, Levenson oversees product management and profitability for individual annuities, mutual funds, 529 plans, 401(k)s, Canadian mutual funds, and offshore funds.

Joyce has now assumed leadership of the international corporate marketing group. He also oversees institutional investment products and government pension plans.
