HedgeWorld.com of Rye, N.Y. plans to introduce an online supermarket for hedge funds.
The firm expects the supermarket - HedgeWorld FundSelectsm - to be live by the first quarter of 2001. The supermarket will offer access to both U.S. and non-U.S. hedge funds.
HedgeWorld FundSelectsm is being developed in conjunction with Tremont Advisers of Rye, N.Y. Tremont will
provide ancillary services to Hedge World.com and will participate on the manager selection committee to determine which hedge funds will be offered in the supermarket.
