Advisor-owned financial services company HighTower Advisors has once again turned to Bank of America Merrill Lynch to expand its advisor force, this time with two advisors in Naples, Fla.
Mark Masterson and David Emma join HighTower as managing directors and partners. Both Masterson and Emma have been registered with HighTower as of March 18, according to FINRA records. Together, they serve as a team under the name Masterson, Emma & Associates.
Masterson served more than 14 years at Merrill Lynch. Emma previously served as a real estate developer and played professional hockey. During his hockey career, he was a member of the 1992 U.S. hockey team.
HighTower previously tapped Merrill Lynch’s force for talent with the addition of a four-member team in Portland, Maine, that was announced in February. Chicago-based HighTower serves both high net worth and institutional clients.
