Hotchkis and Wiley Capital Management has hired Kent Grether as managing director, institutional marketing, for the western United States. Earlier this year, the firm rehired Pat McMenamin to serve the eastern half of the country.
Grether most recently held the position of director of institutional marketing at McKinley Capital Management, based in Anchorage. He now reports to George Davis, CEO of Hotchkis and Wiley and is focusing on plan sponsors and consultants that serve institutional investors.
Last year, Hotchkis and Wiley bought its domestic equity business back from Merrill Lynch and has since built out its institutional marketing team.
