IndexFunds.com Launches Sites In Germany and France

IndexFunds.com of San Francisco launched Web sites in Germany and France yesterday. The company’s U.S. site offers news and performance information on index investing, including exchange-traded funds, and the new international sites (Germany / France) offer the same.

"Investors in the U.S. are discovering the benefits of passive investing and diversification, especially with the flurry of new-fee index products available overseas," said Jim Wiandt, publisher of IndexFunds.com, in a statement. "Thus far, international investors are largely unaware of the power of index investing, but we intend to change that."

Following the launches in Germany and France, IndexFunds.com plans to introduce sites in England, Canada, Australia, and Japan, Wiandt said. Each site will provide index, index fund, and ETF data tailored to investors in each country as well as investor discussion boards.
