Christopher Condron has joined AXA Group of Paris as president and chief executive officer. Previously, Condron was president and CEO of Mellon Financial Corporation of Pittsburgh.
Stephen Canter has been named chairman and CEO of The Dreyfus Corporation of New York, Mellon Financial's mutual fund entity. Canter was president, chief operating officer and chief investment officer with Dreyfus. At the same time, Canter and Ronald O'Hanley were named to Mellon Financial's executive management group. O'Hanley is president of Mellon Institutional Asset Management.
