Rick Groom has joined the Dreyfus Corporation of New York as national sales manager and head of Dreyfus' wholesaling group. Groom was most recently a managing director at J.P. Morgan Fleming Asset Management of New York.
Jeffrey Cerruti has been named executive director and head of the registered investment advisor broker/dealer channel for Brinson Advisors of New York. Previously, Cerruti was the head of national sales for the financial planning channel at Phoenix Investment Partners of Boston. Theodore Brakatselos and Gary Jackson have joined Brinson as executive directors with senior sales roles in the defined contribution channel. Mary Tritley and Lisa Blake have also joined Brinson as executive directors with senior sales roles in the bank and insurance channels.
