Michael Brugman has joined the Conseco Fund Group of Carmel, Ind., as regional sales director for the greater New York City metropolitan area, including Long Island, Westchester County, northern New Jersey and Connecticut. Brugman was previously regional sales director for Pilgrim America Securities of Phoenix, Az.
Liberty Financial Companies of Boston has named Thomas (Tim) R. Tuttle president of Newport Pacific Management, a Liberty Financial subsidiary in San Francisco. Tuttle, who previously was a managing director with Newport Pacific, has been affiliated with the firm since 1984. John M. Mussey, founder and current president of Newport Pacific, will become vice chairman of the firm. Christopher Legallet will become chief investment officer of Newport Pacific.
